Ivette Gonzalez
Ivette Gonzalez moved from Cuba to the United States with her family at age 16. She graduated from high school with top honors and went on to Miami-Dade Community College and Florida International University. In December of 1997, Ivette received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Ivette went on to work as a registered nurse for several years as an intensive care and emergency room nurse, among other areas. It was during this time that she decided to become an attorney and continue helping others, but this time from a different level. Ivette received a Juris Doctor Degree in December 2003 and soon thereafter she became a member of the Florida Bar. As of 2011, Ivette has been working towards completing her LLM in International Business in Europe.
Ivette is a member of the Dade County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division. In addition to these memberships, she performs pro bono work for different organizations that include: Florida Medical Reserve Corps,Lawyers for Children of America, Put Something Back, and the American Red Cross.
